This photo of her Beloved Husband hung over the Main Mantle above the fireplace, along with his Veteran's Flag, following his passing. Taken at the head of the table, he in view of many of the family gathered there, it can be supposed Maria felt something special in his expression here: perhaps a reflective pride in the Family Life his was progenitor to, and that that ought as well to look down likewise over the still bustling home she assiduously yet maintained.

Out to see Kim and Solvej in Jamesville, 1987, bringing Ahmed and Trista, who were almost the same ages as they, to meet them. Ahmed's in the background.This is when Kim and Solvej were sent down with their mother to Syracuse from Alaska in the late Spring. They stayed with Tim's friend in Jamesville.
